When I heard about the Parks Conservancy, I was most excited because the organization blends historical conciousness with care for our environment. As we plan for restoration, we do our best to stay true to the history of that area. I love that about the Conservancy.
Schenley Plaza opened in June of 2006 with a brand new Victorian style Carousel, which is now known as the PNC Carousel. There used to be a Schenley Park Victorian style Carousel in the early 1900’s at the corner of Greenfield and Panther Hollow.

At the end of this month, PNC and the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy are hosting the first-ever PNC Children’s Carousel Tea at Schenley Plaza. It is a great opportunity to let your favorite child get dressed up and take them out for a fun tea party where there will be great performances.
